Autumn justice

There’s a satisfying justice
in the fall of autumn leaves.
No one ever asked them
to clutter up the trees.

So, begone vile leaves and disappear
from every human sight!
A naked tree is an honest tree,
and it doesn’t block the light.

The world is now a better place,
a bright uncluttered scene.
Now all I need’s a cunning plan
to deal with evergreens.
