Face it

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day,
or cut right to the chase?
If summer ever looked like you
she’d never show her face.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day,
or stop prevaricating?
If summer wore a face like yours
the earth would stop rotating.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day,
or get right to the point?
Your face in summer sunlight
puts my whole world out of joint.
